#MINITweet @OceanMINI has been sent on a mission by Adrian Oliver of Margot’s Bistro Padstow. Ten signatures needed on a photo of ten chef’s to be auctioned at the Annual Cornish Chefs Club Charity Dinner on September 29th, the chef’s are hoping to raise £20,000 for local charities.

Visited Poldown caravan park and stayed a couple nights. A small and cozy campsite nestled in well established woodland. Poldown is a couple of miles outside Helston and ideal for exploring both the Lizard and Penwith peninsulas.
First stop Helston to meet up with Kate @kate_wierenga. Kate is running a Crowdfund Cornwall project to raise funds to print a book about birth spaces.
The Cornish mist came down as we drove down the Lizard to Britain’s most southerly point. The sounding of the Lizard Lighthouse fog horns created a quite eerie atmosphere. Continue reading
